Eco Coffins are a new type of coffin that meet the desires of 21st century society for environmentally sound, individual and non-wasteful funerals. They are made from cardboard, but are unlike any other cardboard coffin on the market. Our coffins are made from either recycled, multi-layered fluted cardboard with an integrated leak-proof layer, or from NatureBoard™, a thick grade, strengthened recycled board. Both provide strength and stability, whilst also being 100% biodegradable. Our products have been tested at crematoria and at traditional burial sites and are suitable for both. They use dramatically less energy than standard coffins. But the main selling point of an Eco Coffin is the way that it looks. The beautiful designs are a true celebration of a life lived.
